Abstract:
Political cartoon from "Harper's Weekly" showing President Lincoln acting as a special war correspondent. He writes from City Point, Virginia, that "All seems well with us." The cartoon was published shortly after the Civil War ended and Lincoln was assassinated.
Notes:
The clipping is mounted on brown paper. "The last caricature of Abraham Lincoln," "Harpers," and "Apr. 15, 1865" are handwritten on the brown paper.
