Description

Abstract:
Silver gelatin photographic print of the working model for Hibbard's uncompleted monument to Abraham Lincoln. The model, now at the Chicago Historical Society, dates from circa 1920-1930. A quote from the Second Inaugural Address is engraved on the granite base on which the bronze statue rests.
