- Author's name, Joannes de Stobnicza, from caption at the head of leaf a1 verso. Publication statement from colophon.
- Many of the leaves are misnumbered and these differ from copy to copy. There are also other states, one which is undated, and another which does not have the two unnumbered leaves here inserted between leaves xij and xiij. Some copies have 2 maps. When present, the maps are found on a folded sheet at the end, one on the recto, the other on the verso, except in the copy found in Vienna which has the maps on separate sheets.
- Signatures: A-C⁴ D⁴(D2+chi²) E-L⁴ (L4 verso blank)
- In the text there are references to Vespucci's discoveries.
