With manuscript corrections. This single-spaced typescript was probably prepared by HPL in late 1922 or early 1923. It was one of the five typescripts that HPL submitted to Weird Tales in late-April or early-May 1923 (SL 128, HPL to James F. Morton, May 3, 1923: "Once again I have followed a Mortonian tip ... and have slipped Weird Tales five of my hell-beaters ... Dagon, Randolph Carter, Cats of Ulthar, Hound, and Arthur Jermyn."
