- Two peasant men dig a hole in a garden on a riverbank. Birds fly overhead.
- Notes:
- Physical Description: Numerous parallel horizontal creases have caused uniform pigment loss across image surface. Figures retain some fine details despite pigment loss. The background is painted mainly inbroad washes, while the figures have a higher degree of detail. Gold leaf is present only in the banded border. Presently mounted on green card stock with bright blue and orange banded borders. Verso blank. Virtually free of ornament.
