La demi-mondaine

Description

Abstract:
This plate, taken from La Parisienne peinte par elle-même, appears in the section on Parisian gallantry, and features the demi-mondaine. The demi-mondaine was known to be a woman of questionable morals, and used her coquettish charm for economic gain.
