Palais des nations étrangères, la Serbie

Description

Abstract:
Serbia's pavilion at the 1900 Paris World Fair. The pavilion's design was inspired by Serbian religious architecture; it housed an ethnographic exhibit, as well as a more general exhibition on Serbia. Most of the foreign pavilions were built on the left bank of the Seine river, between the Eiffel Tower and the Esplanade des Invalides(some were also located in the Trocadéro gardens, on the other side of the river, and in front of the Eiffel Tower).
