- This document includes Suggested Amendments to the Freedom of Information Act passed by the Parliament of India in 2002. "Attached is a preliminary list of amendments that need to be made to the Freedom of Information Act of 2002. The existing clauses are quoted in the first column and the proposed amendments are given in the second column, in italics. Where new clauses or sections are suggested, they are also in the second column, in italics. Where required, rationale for suggested amendments is given in column three."
