Description
- Abstract:
- Dated "Dec. 5" only. "That 'Time Machine' spoof surely was amusing in a mild way - especially the conjectures as to the authorship. Belknap told me about it when I passed through Nieuw Nederland on my way north, & I found a copy upon reaching #66. I fancy it must have been perpetrated by someone closely in touch with the correspondence of the group - though it would be unbecoming to make too many guesses" [refers to "The Battle That Ended the Century" which was composed by HPL and RH Barlow in May, 1934]
