- Abstract:
- A monumental outdoor figure of Harriet Tubman depicts her wearing a collared, long dress, holding a richly decorated rifle in her right hand—with its butt adored with flowers—and a colorfully beaded ceremonial staff called veve in her left. The statue is made of milled foam and coated with a bronze-colored patina. Tubman stands on a series of steps draped with numerous colorful quilts.
