- Abstract:
- The half-bust portrait of Harriet Tubman, made from concrete, was sculpted by local artist Frank Rekrut. It rests on a rectangular plinth made of polished black marble bearing her name and an inscription. Tubman is depicted wearing her signature headscarf, with a wrap covering her shoulders. The portrait is situated in a meditation garden next to British Methodist Episcopal Church of Canada-Salem Chapel, St. Catharines, Ontario.
