- Healthcare professionals experience high rates of burnout, emotional exhaustion, and moral distress, underscoring the need for accessible interventions that promote well-being. This mixed-methods study evaluated a digitally delivered, user-centered mindfulness program designed for physicians, residents, and nurses. Four single-arm studies were conducted across distinct clinical populations (N = 112), assessing feasibility, engagement, and self-reported outcomes using validated measures of burnout, anxiety, and mindfulness. Quantitative results demonstrated high completion rates and significant improvements in emotional exhaustion, perceived stress, and self-compassion. Qualitative analysis of open-ended responses and interviews revealed that participants valued the program’s brevity, flexibility, and focus on practical, real-world applications. Clinicians described using brief mindfulness strategies to manage stress, maintain empathy, and enhance focus during clinical duties. Barriers to participation were largely centered around time constraints, while facilitators included relatable clinician narratives and mobile accessibility. Collectively, findings suggest that brief, user-centered mindfulness interventions are both feasible and acceptable in healthcare settings and may promote sustainable well-being across professional roles. This study highlights the importance of adapting mindfulness-based solutions to different populations of healthcare professionals in order to optimize their efficacy.
