- Abstract:
- The article analyzes the role of the Internet on counterterrorism and post September 2001 terrorist attacks. It states that Internet helps in conceptualizing attacks, in spreading hate speeches and in recruiting potential members. It also highlights the strategy employed by counterterrorism officials including the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation to fight terrorism as the use of the Internet by the terrorist groups continue to evolve.
