Abstract:
A series of engravings representing blueprints, section drawings and a facade sketching of the slaughterhouse of Versailles. The first page contains a detailed engraving of the ground floor blueprint.
Notes:
Pierre-Jean Baptiste Douchain, architect of the slaughterhouse of Versailles, is also the architect of its 19th century jail, and of the courthouse.
Extensive foxing on plate 87.
