- Oral history interview with Kim Hewson about the Mashapaug Pond community, Providence, R.I. Hewson, a public school teacher, discusses his involvement with Renaissance Church, a congregation based in the Mashapaug Pond neighborhood. Hewson describes his own and the church's mission in the neighborhood, particularly with the Burmese immigrant community, in the context of his faith, and of New England history. He also talks about his work with the Environmental Justice League, and the ecology of the pond.
