- In this article, the author elaborates a critique of Rui Ramos’s 'History of Portugal' by focusing on two topics: how the text avoids examining the causes of Portugal’s economic backwardness, failing to provide a theory that could serve as an explanation to this historical problem; and Ramos’s definition of liberalism, which this article considers to be flawed.
- Neste artigo, a autora elabora uma crítica do livro 'História de Portugal', de Rui Ramos, concentrando-se em dois tópicos: como o texto evita examinar as causas do atraso económico de Portugal, sendo assim incapaz de fornecer uma teoria que possa servir de explicação ao problema histórico; e a definição de liberalismo proposta por Ramos, que este artigo considera inadequada.
