- Louis Napoleon is pulling a chair towards a table at which several monarchs are sitting. They smile at Louis Napoleon as they are preparing to cut up a king's cake. On the cake is a sign "Gâteau des rois," and the inscription "Liste Civile" with two other illegible words.
