Abstract:
The woman seated in this plate wears a pink dress, with a narrow, corseted waist, a wide bell skirt, and wide sleeves. She is covered with a canezou, or shawl worn around the shoulders, popular in this era. She also wears a straw bonnet. She is carrying a parasol.
