The man in the foreground is wearing a black suit with a starched collar and a blue vest, as well as a top hat. The woman in the foreground wears a wide, flounced dress with a wide crinoline that extends behind her. She is also wearing a violet fitted coat and a yellow bonnet tied under the chin with a ribbon.
