Aspect général de l'exposition (vue prise du Trocadéro)

Description

Abstract:
View of the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadéro Palace. The tower was intended to be a temporary construction that would serve as an entrance to the exhibit. The buildings represented behind the tower on this engraving are the main galleries of the exhibit (such as the Grande galerie des machines). They were destroyed at the beginning of the twentieth century.
