Vue panoramique de l'Exposition Universelle de 1878

Description

Abstract:
Bird's eye view of Paris during the 1878 World Fair. The circular building on the left of the image is the Palais du Trocadéro, which had been built specifically for the fair. On the other side of the bridge stands the Palais du Champ-de-Mars, which housed most of the exhibits, and which had also been built for the occasion. At the center of its rectangular structure stands the Pavilion of the city of Paris. The last building on the right of the image is the École militaire, which still stands today.
