Description
- Abstract:
- This article argues that Cabral's poetry may be called original, since, after the ruin of the previous system of expression and representation that linked words, it is necessary to restart everything from the origin point, from the Amphionic desert. This originality implies rejecting the personhood and intimacy through which images of growth were manifest. Cabral's work rises from this basic negative foundation, but rebuilding poetry from this wasteland will be the great challenge. The legend of Amphion will tell this story in a problematic way.
