BRASIL/BRAZIL: A Journal of Brazilian Literature (ISSN: 2526-4885), founded in 1988, publishes scholarly articles on Brazilian literature and in Comparative Literature with a focus on Brazilian literature, as well as book reviews, interviews with writers, English-language translations of Brazilian literature and original prose and poetry by Brazilian authors. All materials submitted to the journal are evaluated anonymously. Final decisions are the responsibility of the editors. Issues 1 through 50 were printed; from no. 51 onwards, the journal has been published exclusively online, with open access. Initially co-edited by Brown University, Mercado Aberto and the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), in 2000 the journal became a partnership between those two universities and the PUCRS University Press. In 2005, it became a co-edition of Brown University and the Cultural Association Acervo Literário de Erico Verissimo, with the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) joining as a co-editor in 2015.

BRASIL/BRAZIL: Revista de Literatura Brasileira (ISSN: 2526-4885), fundada em 1988, publica ensaios sobre Literatura Brasileira e Literatura Comparada enfocando a Literatura Brasileira, bem como resenhas, entrevistas com escritores, traduções para o inglês e inéditos de prosa e poesia de autores brasileiros. Todas as submissões são avaliadas anonimamente, sendo os editores inteiramente responsáveis pela seleção final. Do n.º 1 ao 50, a revista foi apresentada sob forma impressa; a partir do número 51, passou a ser publicada exclusivamente online, com acesso aberto. Inicialmente co-editada pela Brown University, Mercado Aberto e Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), em 2000 passou a ser publicada pelas duas universidades e a editora da PUCRS. Em 2005, tornou-se uma co-edição da Brown University e da Associação Cultural Acervo Literário de Erico Verissimo, às quais a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) se juntou em 2015.
