- Exploring the personal notebooks of Edgar Pêra, we approach the creative process of the filmmaker and his artistic influences. In this universe, Fernando Pessoa is a pervasive figure, announced from the early records (whose activity began in 1977) and dominant in the diary production during the years of the project Não Sou Nada, between 2014 and 2022. However, what can be inferred about these contents is no more relevant than the exercise of envisioning the notebooks (whose classification fits into artist books) as a manifestation of a work (life) marked by insatiable and, perhaps, polymorphic curiosity.
- Percorrendo os cadernos pessoais de Edgar Pêra, abeiramos o processo criativo do realizador, assim como as suas influências artísticas. Neste universo, Fernando Pessoa é uma figura omnipresente, que se anuncia desde os primeiros registos (cuja atividade se inicia em 1977) e que é dominante na produção diarística dos anos do projeto Não Sou Nada, entre 2014 e 2022. Mas o que se possa inferir sobre estes conteúdos não é mais relevante do que o exercício de perspetivar os cadernos (cuja tipificação encaixa nos livros de artista) como uma manifestação de uma obra (vida) crivada de uma curiosidade insaciável e, talvez por isso, polimórfica.
